Ockenden Manor Hotel & Spa, Cuckfield

The hotel offers stunning views of the country grounds from the huge four-poster bed and oversized windows in the warm and welcoming room. However, the noise from the kitchens below and ventilation system outside the bedroom window can be a bit bothersome. The service was friendly and considerate, though some may find it overly attentive at times. The beautiful location in the village of Cuckfield is central and convenient, but a few decor updates could enhance the experience. The dining experience fell slightly short of expectations, requiring improvement to match the standard set by the rest of the stay.

I loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were comfortable, with lovely bed linen and a practical ensuite. However, the room layout was a bit unexpected with the split level design. The service was top-notch, especially Flavius who was extremely professional. The location was excellent for exploring the West Sussex British wine routes. The dining experience was pleasant overall, although some dishes were a bit disappointing. The spa and food were outstanding, and I enjoyed the lovely spa days. The price was reasonable for the great experience offered.
